I am a PhD student in the Language, Acquisition, Diversity Lab working under the supervision of Prof. Sabine Stoll and Prof. Paul Widmer.

My current research centers on the acquisition of negation in typologically diverse languages using the ACQDIV corpus. I explore the role of saliency and complexity in child speech as a function of child surrounding speech. The ultimate goal is to measure the increase of flexibility in children's production and to explore universal developmental trajectories.

I am also coordinator of Kurmanji Language Acquisition Corpus. The main goal of the project is the collection, transcription and annotation of a longitudinal audio-visual corpus of 4 Kurmanji-speaking children.
